How accurate are the AI translations?
Our AI produces high-quality translations that are suitable for most UI text. Unlike generic translators, we understand application context; we know "bank" means "banco" in Spanish if you're a financial institution, but it means "orilla" if you're a non-profit working on water conservation. For universal content like your company name, you can always configure forced translations to override any AI output.
What file formats do you support?
We support major localization formats in JSON (i18next, react-intl). If you need another format supported, please contact us and let us know! We want to help.
Is my code secure?
Absolutely. We only store hashes of your frontend text to avoid charging you for unnecessary re-translations. We never store or send source code or business logic to third parties.
What happens when I update my source strings?
LocoLingua automatically detects new, changed, and deleted strings. New strings get translated, changed strings get re-translated (preserving any forced overrides you've set), and deleted strings are cleaned up from all language files.
How much does it cost?
We haven't announced pricing yet, but we're confident we will save you significant time and money compared to manual or contracted translations. Join the waitlist to get early access and early-adopter pricing.
Do I keep my translations if I leave the LocoLingua platform?
Yes! We're fighting vendor lock-in by putting the translations directly back into your source code in a standardized format. This even means you can tweak your translations in the code with no headache! We would be sad to see you go, though; those pesky translations get stale quickly!
